Tämän soveltamissuosituksen tavoitteena on edistää ammattikorkeakoulujen yhteistä näkemystä siitä, miten kansallisessa tutkintojen ja muun osaamisen viitekehyksessä (National Qualifications Framework, NQF) esitettyjä osaamistasokuvauksia sovelletaan opetussuunnitelmatyössä, osaamisprofiilien laadinnassa ja osaamisen arvioinnissa.

The Finnish Higher Education Evaluation Council (FINHEEC) decided in November 2010 to launch an evaluation of the research, development and innovation (RDI) activities of universities of applied sciences (UASs)1 . The evaluation was requested by the Ministry of Education and Culture and recommended by several international evaluations on the Finnish innovation system. The aim of the evaluation was to provide an accurate and realistic picture of the extent and quality of RDI activities undertaken by UASs and their impact on society. The evaluation was to adopt an international perspective.

Position Paper On FP9
UAS4EUROPE, the networking platform for universities of applied sciences (UAS) in Europe, presents its position paper on the ninth European Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (FP9). UAS4EUROPE believes that the universities of applied sciences have an important role to play in FP9. We would like to provide our recommendations for a new programme that will even better integrate UAS.
